Our First Podcast - The atmosphere at the World Cup
25 Jun 2010

The first ever, brand new, inaugural, shiney podcast from the University of Manchester Centre for Atmospheric Science. This week talking about the World Cup: why is it tough to play at high altitude? Is the Jabulani ball really rubbish? Also a round up of some stories from the atmospheric science community like the drought in N.W. England, dodgy science reporting and hurricane predictions.
The Barometer is a podcast set up by staff and students at the University of Manchester Centre for Atmospheric Science. We hope to make some podcasts telling people some interesting stuff about atmospheric science, climate, weather and anything else that takes our fancy.
New podcasts will be made available approximately once per month.
