Thermodynamic analysis of connected flow between sites in a hill cap cloud project. When wet equivalent potential temperature and total water vapour mixing ratio at each site is the same air at each site is thermodynamically identical. Where differences occur, flow is either not connected, or there is precipitation or entrainment occurring between the sites. On this plot times when flow is disconnected are shaded out.
