EMERALD2 Project - Some Example CPI Images

Ice crystal images from the EMERALD2 project. During this project in anvil outflow cirrus many large aggregates were observed.
A selection of CPI images taken during EMERALD2, showing various plate-like crystals and agglomerates. It should be noted that there were also many small irregular particles present at all times within the cloud. Single hexagonal plates, columns, and bullet rosettes were also observed in some parts of the cloud.
